Getting started with Webpress

Create your first website project and open it in the editor in a couple of minutes.

Welcome to Webpress! This guide walks you through creating your first project and opening the visual editor. No code required.

Create a new project

  1. From the dashboard, open the Projects section.
  2. Click the New Project button in the top-right corner.
  3. A short setup wizard appears. The only required step is the Project name — for example, "Acme Studio".
  4. The remaining steps (description, website type, main goal, design vibe, audience) are optional. They help us tailor your starting point, but you can skip them and change everything later.
  5. Click Create project. Your project is created and the editor opens automatically.

You can always rename a project later from the project card's menu (⋯) on the dashboard.

Open an existing project

Back on the dashboard, every project shows as a card. Hover over a card and click Open in Editor to jump back into editing. The editor lives at /app/editor/<your-project>.

What happens next

Once the editor is open you can start adding content by dragging blocks onto the canvas, styling them, and arranging your pages. When you're happy, you publish your site to a free webpress.id address or your own custom domain.
