Building with the AI assistant

The AI assistant is a chat dock inside the editor. You describe what you want in plain language and it builds or edits your page live on the canvas — one section at a time, so you can keep refining without it clobbering your work.

Open the assistant

Click the ✨ AI icon on the left of the editor to open the chat dock. Type a message, press send, and watch it work: the assistant shows its thinking, writes a short reply, and applies changes to the canvas as it goes.

Three ways to generate

Edit by chatting (the default)

Just talk to it about the page you're on:

• "Add a pricing section with three tiers."
• "Make the hero background darker and the heading bigger."
• "Remove the footer and add a contact section."

It adds, replaces, restyles, or removes sections as you ask, leaving everything else untouched. If you've selected a section first, you can say "make this more minimal" and it knows which one you mean.

Generate a full page

Starting from an empty project, choose Start with AI on the starter screen — or Generate full page in the dock — and describe the whole site:

"A one-page site for a yoga studio in Bandung: hero, classes, pricing, testimonials, and a contact form. Calm and minimal."

The assistant plans and builds the page section by section. If your canvas already has content, it asks you to confirm before replacing it.

Generate a multi-page site

Ask for several pages — "a 4-page site with Home, About, Services, and Contact" — and the assistant plans the pages, builds each one, and wires up the navigation between them. (Multi-page generation is a paid-tier capability; see Plans & pricing.)

Writing good prompts

You'll get better results with a little detail:

• Say what it's for — the business, the audience, the goal.
• Name the sections you want — hero, features, pricing, FAQ, contact.
• Set the tone — minimal, bold, elegant, playful.
• Iterate — generate first, then refine with follow-up messages. Small, specific asks beat one giant prompt.

The assistant writes your page copy in your language, defaulting to Bahasa Indonesia when it's unsure. Just write to it in the language you want and it follows.

Coins, history, and undo

• Coins. Each message is metered. The dock shows an estimate (e.g. "≈3 coins") while it works and the actual amount after. See Coins & credits.
• History. Your chats are saved per project. Use the + to start a new chat and the History menu to switch, rename, or clear conversations — they survive a reload.
• Undo. Every assistant turn is a single undo step, so one Ctrl/Cmd + Z reverses the whole change.

What it does for quality

• styles new sections with your Brand Kit colors and fonts,
• places relevant images automatically,
• keeps text readable by checking contrast,
• never inserts unsafe code — generated markup is cleaned server-side.

Good to know

• The assistant edits sections (top-level blocks). For tweaking one specific element, the design copilot is a better fit.
• It builds standard, editable Webpress content — after generating, you can change anything by hand.
• If a request doesn't land perfectly, undo and try a more specific prompt.
