Ericeira, Portugal · six rooms
Six rooms on the cliffs above Ericeira, ten minutes' walk from the surf at Ribeira d'Ilhas. From €140 a night, breakfast included. Open March to November.
Mirante is the Portuguese word for a lookout, the spot on a cliff where people stop to take in the sea. The house is built around that pause. Six rooms stand on the edge above Ericeira, whitewashed and trimmed in blue, all facing the Atlantic. We are small enough to know every guest by name.

Yes. Boards stay in the house, not in the rooms. Ask when you write.
We'll confirm both in our reply, so they fit your arrival.
The winter swells and storms hit the cliff hard. We close, and open again in March.
