Rua dos Remédios 9 · Alfama, Lisbon
Pasta rolled by hand every afternoon, a short list of natural wine, 38 seats. Dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 19:00.
A small Italian kitchen at number 9, Rua dos Remédios, in the steep lanes of Alfama.
Thirty-eight seats under a low whitewashed vault, tables close enough to hear the next one laugh. We cook dinner only, Tuesday to Saturday, doors at 19:00.
Every afternoon the pasta is rolled by hand on a semolina-dusted board, cut with a brass cutter, and left to rest until service. Nothing is made the day before.
The name is the door: nove, nine. Two cuisines meeting in one old Lisbon street, with the river Tejo somewhere below. Call to book a table
