Stoneware pour-over set · Porto

Glazed by hand,
never twice.

A dripper, a carafe and two cups, dipped in glaze we mix ourselves in small batches in Porto. €84 for the set, shipped across the EU within a week.

Kiln dripper on its carafe, cobalt glaze running down the side in thick drips to the bare clay foot

The glaze

Every set is dipped in a glaze we mix by hand, so the drips run where they run, the blue pools at the rim and breaks to oatmeal near the clay.

No two Kiln sets are alike. Yours will not match the photographs, and that is the point.

How it's made

Four steps, small batches

Every set passes through the kiln twice and through our hands in between. That sequence is why a batch stays small.

  1. A potter dipping a bisque-fired cup into a bucket of blue glaze
    01

    Throw

Each dripper, carafe and cup is thrown by hand in stoneware, with a bare foot ring left where the clay will show.

  2. 02

    Fire

A first bisque firing turns the pieces pale and porous. They wait on kiln shelves until there are enough for a batch.

  3. A bucket of hand-mixed cobalt glaze
    03

    Dip

We mix the glaze by hand and dip each piece. How it drips, pools and shifts in tone is why no two sets are identical.

  4. 04

    Glaze

The second firing melts the glaze to a glossy skin. Then the set is packed and shipped across the EU within a week.

Bloom,

then pour

for two.

A morning pour for two on a granite sill, Porto rooftops beyond the shutters

Wet the filter, add the coffee, pour just enough water to bloom it. Wait, then pour in a slow spiral. The carafe fills; the two cups are shared.

The set is made to be used daily, on a kitchen sill, not kept on a shelf. It goes in the dishwasher, and the glaze only gets better to look at.

Practical questions

€84 for the full set of four: dripper, carafe and two cups.

Made in small batches in Porto, shipped across the EU within a week.

How fast does it arrive?

Every set ships from Porto and reaches addresses across the EU within a week of your order.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

Yes, the glaze is fired hard and is dishwasher safe. Washing by hand keeps the gloss at its best for longer.

Which paper filters fit?

The dripper is a cone with three ribs inside, so standard size 02 cone paper filters fit it.

Why will my set look different from the photos?

We mix every glaze by hand and dip each piece ourselves. Drips, pooling and the shift from blue to oatmeal differ on every set, so yours will be its own.

What is the bare ring under each piece?

The foot ring is left unglazed so the piece can stand in the kiln. It shows the raw sandy clay.
